   2000: Sami Al-Arian with George and Laura Bush

    Sami Al-Arian poses for a picture with, then Presidential Candidate, George W. Bush (just prior to the contentious election of 2000). Readers may recall the infamous Bush line on the ‘evil’ of secret evidence, and how he sold the Muslims on this one line. Seven years later, Al-Arian is still in jail, and Bush administration loves secret evidence more than any other before.

   The caption reads: A picture story of the Harram (sanctuary i.e. Kaba) taken in the year 1941. Rain fell so hard that the water level rose up to the black stone. And people had to do their tawaaf around the Kaba while swimming.
